Fitzwilliam Suite

The Fitzwilliam Suite is named after Fitzwilliam College, one of the colleges that make up the famous Cambridge University.

This suite is located on the top floor and is situated at the rear of the chalet, with access to a private balcony. Though smaller than some of our suites, Fitzwilliam still boasts the same amenities including a flat screen TV with UK Freesat channels, WIFi and USB charging points.

As with all of our rooms it can be configured with either a twin or king-size bed. The en-suite bathroom comprises a shower, sink and toilet and includes luxurious towels, bathrobes and toiletries.

About Fitzwilliam College

Fitzwilliam College is one of the more modern colleges within the University of Cambridge, and enjoys a large and tranquil site. ‘Fitzwilliam House’ was formed in 1869 as a non-collegiate institution, providing education to undergraduates unable to afford membership of a college. Due to its emphasis on academic ability rather than wealth, Fitzwilliam quickly attracted a strong academic contingent that included future Nobel Prize winners, Heads of State and important judicial figures. It developed a tradition in Medicine and established a reputation as one of the most internationally diverse institutions within the University.   In 1966 it received its Royal Charter to become Fitzwilliam College and in 1978 it admitted its first female undergraduates.
